Jim Gill’s Symphony in Sneeze
A Family Concert of Symphonic Music Play

A concert with all original works — created especially for the symphony orchestra — that celebrates a love of music, language, books and play!

Jim Gill most often travels the country leading concerts accompanied simply by his banjo. With a full orchestra, the music and the opportunities for play are greatly enhanced!

The concert features “A Soup Opera,” the playful sing-along opera that inspired Jim’s award winning children’s book and CD. Also featured are two pieces from Jim’s newest CD, Music Play for Folks of All Stripes.

It is heartening to see a live performance of great music that inspires young children to actively and imaginatively play. You can click on the video link below to see that sort of play during “Beethoven’s Five Finger Play” and “I Was Born a Horn.”

This concert of symphonic music play provides an experience where families not only listen, but also clap, sing and move along to Jim Gill’s music, games and rhymes.

Jim would be honored to perform these works, with your city’s symphony orchestra, for the children and families in your area. Let your local symphony orchestra know that this concert, created especially for children and families, is available.
